Didn't get to specific which site we wanted even though we made reservations 2 months in advance. Train woke us up. Sites too close, couldn't even let out canopy. Truck was hit, manager "horsed" laugh at me when I reported it. Putt-Putt course needed to be repaired, lake full of algae, paddle boats nasty. Best spots to let children play designated as dog run!! KOA Asheville West nicer and friendler.
Nice quiet park, nice stocked lake and large spacious lots. Not a lot to do at park and in the town but State park is good for some real camping. I'm originally from Chester-hate the place but parents decided to return so we camp at the State park two to three times a year.
Lots close together, they had us back our new 27 ft travel trailer between two large trees when there were plenty of other larger sites available. After finding out there was no bath house when the web site states that they had a bath house I ask for refund and owners actually acted relieved that we were leaving. Very unusual campground. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone....
